QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS. 
Recent PhD holders, as well as lecturers with strong interest in conducting research in the areas of energy (oil and gas, power), marine and wetland studies, as well as peace, development, entrepreneuri al and governance studies are particularly encouraged to apply. International applications are also welcome.

(a)    Professor [CONUASS 7]
Candidates should be holders of a Ph.D Degree from recognized Universities with at least ten (10) years teaching, research and administrativ e experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic leadership. Candidates must also be specialists in core areas of departmental fields of study with evidence of many scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.

(b)    Associate Professor [CONUASS 6]
Qualification s are as stated for Professors but with at least eight (8 ) years teaching, research and administrativ e experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must have evidence of many scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.

(c)    Senior Lecturers [CONUASS 5]
Qualification s are same as (b) above but with at least six (6) years teaching, research and administrativ e experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must have evidence of eight (8 ) scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.

(d)    Lecturer 1 [CONUASS 4]
Candidates should be holders of a Ph.D Degree from recognized Universities with at least three (3) years post-doctoral teaching, research and administrativ e experience in a tertiary institution. He must also have evidence of six (6) journal articles in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.

(e)    Lecturer 11 [CONUASS 3]
Candidates should possess the same qualification s as (d) above with three (3) years teaching, research and administrativ e experience in a tertiary institution. He must also have evidence of three (3) publications in both local and international reputable journals, plus registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.

 
(f)    Assistant Lecturer [CONUASS 2]
Candidates should be holders of Masters Degree in relevant fields with clear evidence of registration for a Ph.D programme. He must also have at least three (3) years teaching, research and administrativ e experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must register with relevant professional bodies where applicable.

(g)    Graduate Assistant [CONUASS 1]
Candidates should be holder of First Degree (Second Class Upper Division) in relevant fields. He must also have evidence of NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.

Candidates should possess a good honours degree preferably in the Humanities, Law, Social Sciences or Management Sciences with Nine (9) years cognate experience, three (3) of which must have been spent in a tertiary institution.

(b)   Assistant Registrars (CONTISS 9)
Candidates should possess a good honours degree preferably in the Humanities, Law, Social Sciences or Management Sciences with Six (6) years cognate experience in a tertiary institution. Computer literacy is an added advantage.

(c)    Assistant Registrar (Guidance & Counseling) (CONTISS 9)
Candidates should possess a good honours degree in Guidance and Counseling from a recognized University plus Six (6) years cognate experience in a tertiary institution. Computer literacy is an added advantage.

(d)    Administrativ e Officers (CONTISS 8 )
Qualification s as in (c) above, but with three (3) years cognate experience. In addition, candidates should have good command of English Language, both oral and written.

(e)    Administrativ e Assistants (CONTISS 7) Same as in Administrativ e Officer. But post NYSC experience is required.

(f)    Confidential Secretary 1 (CONTISS 6)
The candidate should possess HND in Secretariat Studies with seven (7) years experience plus demonstrable ability for 120/50 wpm in short hand/typing.

(g)    Confidential Secretary 11 (CONTISS 5)
Candidates should possess National Diploma (ND) in Secretariat Studies, with a demonstrable ability for 100/50 wpm in short hand/typing, with four (4) years cognate experience.

(a)     Principal Accountant (CONTISS 11)
Candidates must possess a good B.Sc Degree in Accounting, plus twelve (12) years cognate experience, out of which six (6) years must have been spent in a tertiary institution.

(b)   Senior Accountant (CONTISS 9)
Candidates must possess a good honours Degree in Accounting, plus Six (6) years cognate experience, out of which four (4) years must have been spent in a tertiary institution.
 (c)     Accountant 1 (CONTISS 8 )
Candidates must possess at a good B.Sc Degree in Accounting, plus three (3) years post-qualification experience.

(d)   Accountant 11 (CONTISS 7)
Candidate should possess a good honours degree in Accountancy from a recognized institution, plus NYSC Discharge Certificate.

 
3.AUDIT

Candidate must possess a degree or HND in Accounting, plus Nine (9) years of post-qualification experience with membership of any relevant professional bodies.

(b)    Senior Internal Auditor (CONTISS 9)
Same as in (a) above but with six (6) years post-qualification experience.

(c)     Internal Auditor I (CONTISS 7)
Same as in (a) above but with three (6) years post-qualification experience.

4.  LIBRARY
(a) Principal Librarians
(b) Senior Librarians
(c) Library Officers

QUALIFICATIONS
(a)     Principal Librarian (CONUASS 5)
Candidates must possess a good honours degree in Library Science, plus eight ( 8 ) publications of which five (5) must be journals. He must also be a member of Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria. Nine (9) years cognate experience is required with computer literacy
 

(b)    Senior Librarian (CONUASS 4)
Candidate must possess the same as (a) above but with four (4) journal         publications, plus six years cognate experience.

(c)     Library Officers (CONUASS 3)
Candidate must possess National Diploma (ND) in Library Science and information. Computer is an added advantage.

5.   PHYSICAL PLANNING & WORKS
(a) Chief Architects
(b) Principal Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical)
(c) Principal Quantity Surveyor

QUALIFICATIONS
(a) Chief Architect (CONTISS 13)

             i.   Candidates must possess a good honours degree in architecture with twelve (12) years working experience plus membership of Architectural Council of Nigeria (ACON).

           ii.   Masters degree in architecture with Nine (9) years working experience, out of which three (3) years must have been spent in a tertiary institution plus membership of (ACON)

     (b) Principal Engineer (CONTISS 11)

Candidates must possess a good honours degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) with nine (9) years post-qualification experience plus registration with relevant professional bodies.

(c) Principal Quantity Surveyor (CONTISS 11)

Candidates must possess a good honours degree in Quantity surveying plus nine years cognate experience and must registered with Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyor (NIQS).

6.  SECURITY

              (a) Chief Security Officers
              (b) Security Officers II

QUALIFICATIONS
(a)    Chief Security Officers (CONTISS 13)

Candidates must be at least a retired Superintenden t of Police or its equivalent in the Armed Forces with a good honours degree and must have at least 12 years working experience.

(b)   Chief Security Officer II (CONTISS 7)
Candidates must be an ex Inspector of Police or its equivalent in the Armed Forces with at least eight ( 8 ) years experience, in addition candidates must also have five credits including English Language at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO or GCE.

 
7.  HEALTH CENTRE
(a) Principal Medical Officer

(c) Senior Pharmacist

QUALIFICATIONS
(a)     Principal Medical Officer (CONTISS 13)

Candidate must possess MBBS plus nine years of post-housemanship experience, Candidate must also have postgraduate training in Public health, Community Health and Family Medicine or General Medicine.

(b) Senior Medical Officer (CONTISS 11)
i. Candidate must possess MBBS plus three (3) years residency/post-housemanship experience; or

ii. MBBS plus diploma in a medically related discipline.

(b)    Senior Pharmacist (CONTISS 11)
Candidate must possess B.Pharm or B. Sc Pharmacy plus full registration with the Pharmacautica l council of Nigeria. Candidates must also have three years post-registration experience.
(d) Senior Nursing Officer (CONTISS 9)
i. Candidate must have NRN or NRM plus post-registration experience or specialist qualification in intensive care nursing, Coronary Care Nursing or Public Health; or
ii. Bachelor of Nursing plus three years post-qualification experience.

(e)Nursing Officer I (CONTISS 8 )
The same as for Senior Nursing Officer but with 4 years post-qualification   experience.

(f)Nursing Officers (CONTISS 6)
Candidate must possess NRN or NRM

8.  TECHNOLOGISTS

NETWORK OPERATION CENTRE
(a). NOC  Manager (Senior Engineer) CONTISS 09:
Candidates must  have B. Eng. / B.Tech (Computer, Electrical and Electronics Engineering). Candidates must  have at least 6 years working experience on Wide Area Network (WAN) installation, maintenance and support, including  VSAT operations. Evidence of management of a large enterprise network  including large internet bandwidth and support for over 500 users on a broadband network is required while experience in metropolitan network operations will be an added advantage.

Candidates must also have record of management of large internet  bandwidth and support for over 500 users and must have working experience with Unix/Linux/ Windows and other related operating  systems.

(b).Engineer II (Network Administrator) CONTISS 07: 
Candidates must have B.Eng./B. Tech. (Computer, Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ B.Sc. Computer Science/ B.Sc. Telecommunica tions/ Physics/ Electronics/ HND Electrical Electronics/ Computer Science. CCNA, MCSE/RHCT/MCP certification s would be an added advantage.

(c). IT Technician (LAN/Wireles Operator/ Data/Network Security Supervisor) CONTISS 06: 
Candidates must have OND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/ Computer Science/ Telecommunica tion Science/ NCE             with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in computer networking installations . Candidates should have good communication skills with at least one year experience in Internet Service Provider  (ISP)/ Cyber-café operation.

SPORTS & RECREATION
(a). Stadium Manager (CONTISS 11):

Candidates must possess  a good honours degree  and must have requisite experience in sports administratio n and  sports groundsmanshi p with a least 8 years of experience after  graduation.

•Sports Coach II (CONTISS 07):   
A minimum of O/L with Coaching experience in chosen  sports.  Ability to handle multiple sports will be an       advantage.  Evidence of Coaching at University or higher levels will also be an advantage.

GENERAL TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
(a). Senior Technologist (CONTISS 09): 
Candidates must possess B.Sc/ HND from a recognized institution in relevant areas with at least 6 years of relevant post-qualification work experience. 

(b).Technologist I   (CONTISS 08) : 
Candidates must possess SSCE/GCE (O/L) or its equivalent in the relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus final Technician…with at least two years post-qualification experience. OR SSCE/GCE (O/L) or its equivalent with at least five credits in the relevant subjects including English Language plus HND in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institution with   at least two years post-qualification experience.

(c). Technologist II (CONTISS 07): Same as (b) above without experience.
(d). Laboratory Attendant (CONTISS 01) : Candidates must possess First School Certificate..

9.  PUBLIC RELATIONS/ INFORMATION AND PROTOCOL UNIT
(a) Senior Public Relations Officer (CONTISS 9)

i. Candidates must have a good honours degree from a recognised University in Mass Communication or Public Relations or other relevant degree in the Humanities or Social Sciences with at least six years cognate experience plus evidence of registration with membership of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); or

ii. Bachelors or Masters degree in the relevant field with at least 3 years cognate experience plus evidence membership of the Nigerian Institute of Relations (NIPR).

 
10.  IMPORTANT NOTICE
·         All candidates must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable.

·         Salaries, allowances and other conditions of service attached to the various positions are the same as approved for federal universities in Nigeria
